Alison is a lecturer in psychology who has been teaching into the JCU program since 2017. Based in North Queensland and a JCU graduate herself, Alison is passionate about the value of regionally grounded education and the unique strengths of students from diverse backgrounds. She teaches across a range of subjects in the online psychology program, with expertise in social and environmental psychology. Her research span professional identity development, science communication, environmental attitudes and behaviours, research integrity, and qualitative research methods. Alison takes an inclusive and student-centred approach to online learning, aiming to make university accessible and meaningful for all students—wherever they are in their journey.
