        Video transcript

I'd always been interested in psychology, so it was part of a wanting to learn because I have a love of learning and wanting to do that in a field that I enjoy and wanted to explore more.

It looked like it was going to be a really good fit for what I wanted and particularly if with the blocks of the the the teaching blocks being not the traditional semesters and trimesters which would allow me to complete the course in a more timely fashion.

Really, really liked the way that the modules were set up.

And it was a combination of text based reading but also some videos to reinforce the messages, the activities all the way through it.

Although I have all the textbooks and I read all of the textbooks, I think that online learning with the videos and things like that can really just help bring it to life a lot more.

One of the things that I was really attracted about the graduate certificate was unlike a lot of the other graduate certificates that prescribe the four subjects that you have to do, I was able to choose the four subjects that I wanted to do for part of the graduate certificate.

And I think for me for the reasons that I wanted wanted to do this, that was really, really useful.

I could sort of, you know, say you know, the neurology bit is not what I'm interested in, but I'm interested in the health side of it.

So I was able to tailor it and that was that was a real big tick for me with the JCU course.

        Absolutely I would.

I think you know the the way that subjects are structured, they're not sort of the traditional introduction to psychology A, introduction to psychology B and that's I think really appealing for a lot of people.

It's definitely something that people can enjoy.

But also I know from my, from my study buddies, you know some of them have going on now to to sort of you know do the next part.

They're doing the graduate diploma and and moving through and, you know, it's a really good career path for people who want to become psychologists.
