Quantitative Research in Healthcare

Quantitative research offers insight into causes, comparisons and associations, factors required for evidence- and value-based healthcare delivery. In this subject, students will build their capacity to hypothesise and interpret like a quantitative researcher. Students will formulate research questions, align theory and methods, and interpret and communicate statistical results to address questions arising from clinical scenarios.

- Interpret healthcare-related quantitative research reports
- Formulate hypotheses and align quantitative research approaches
- Appraise quantitative research to determine suitable practice recommendations
