Business leaders must be prepared to assess new waves of technology, their impact on business process and relationships with suppliers, customers and competitors from every corner of the world. This subject provides a strategic perspective of technology and innovation management and its impact on a company’s competitive positioning. You will examine tools and techniques that help leaders understand emerging trends, opportunities/threats to prevailing business models, and actively participant in the innovation process. Furthermore, you will explore how organisations design and implement creative responses to the marketplace.
Learning outcomes
Upon completing this subject, you will be able to:

Assessment
Assessment for this course will occur at various times across the seven-week study period. Tasks may include online quizzes, discussion board activity, portfolio development, case studies, reflection, literature reviews presentations and reports. Feedback will be provided to you throughout the study period as well as a final grade at the conclusion of the study period.
